Banknote Processing and Disintegration by Hunkeler Systeme at the Croatian National Bank

Ten years after Croatia officially joined the European Union, the Croatian National Bank adopted the EURO as the official currency on the 1st of January 2023. For the online processing and sorting of banknotes, the Croatian National Bank is relying on two highspeed banknote processing systems, which both can process up to 120000 banknotes per hour (2000 banknotes per minute). Both sorters (currently only one is installed) can be connected to an intelligent compact extraction system of Hunkeler Systeme AG: The HKU 4510-B-RB.
