Milestones
Eighty years ago, disposal technology made its first appearance in the form of a baling press encased in a wooden crate, developed by a department of the then Hunkeler AG. This sector continued to develop positively. In the beginning, the new disposal technology was taken up by printing companies and for recycling, but soon spread to other market sectors. In 1990, a legal stand-alone company was founded with Hunkeler Systeme AG.
A management buy-out in 2005 formally freed Hunkeler Systeme AG from its earlier structures; since then, the company has operated in the world market as a completely independent enterprise.
Today we can confidently claim to be one of the world’s leading suppliers of disposal systems of any size, from a simple press to a complex large scale plant.

Engineering – all from one single source
All out of one system provider – it starts with a concept drawing, the planning and ends with the engineering, implementation, start up and training. Our system engineers analyze your requirements with 3D visualizations and virtual process animation. The result is a high quality customized solution. Over 1000 satisfied customers around the world are working with Hunkeler Systems. Our engineers are designing the system together with you according to your specific needs.
Control software
Optimal function and availability can only be guaranteed if the software is adapted to all the plant processes. Hunkeler programs all systems in their own software and control department and can thus offer fully integrated support, even with a remote system.
